I am an Acupuncturist.
You know right?

Do you know how many acupuncturists are in United States?

The answer is 21,573 at end of 2011.

Least number, 10 of acupuncturists are in North Dakota.
Most number, 6,742 of acupuncturists are in California.

Yes, I am the one of 6,742 and one of 21,573.

Now a day, many Medical Doctors (MD) are attending the classes of University of Oriental Medicine.

I guess the number is increasing more and more.

I found another 'map' 2007.

If these datas are right, what is happening in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and other mid-west states?

Did they give up?

Number of Acupuncturists in California is not increased many.
One of the reasons I know is that the California State Board exam is getting difficult more and more.

They say in general, "If you passed California State exam, you can pass anywhere else easily.

Anyway,

I saw Angel (her sister) last week, but I have not seen Annalynne a while.

Pediatric Japanese Acupuncture

The Latest Research Reported, "Acupuncture Is Safe To Children Too".

I don't really use facial acupuncture for kids,
but still occasionally do.


The latest research was organized by University of Alberta and published in an academic journal of AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics), "Pediatrics".
The research confirmed, "Acupuncture is sage to children too".

New York Times reports,
There were researches about adverse effects of acupuncture for adults, but there were no researches for children before.
The latest research shows the chance to receive serious adverse effects by pediatric acupuncture is approximately 5 of 1,000,000 treatments.
That is roughly same as adults'.

Now a day, acupuncture is one of the most common alternative medicines in U.S.
About 3,000,000 people receive the acupuncture practices in each year.
Lately, the number of pediatric acupuncture practices is increasing.
It is assumed about 150,000 children received in 2007.

University of Alberta organized the results of adverse effects of children from 37 international surveillance data.
168 out of 1,422 children (including teenagers) had minor adverse effects.
Very rarely serious problems were occurred.
Further those cases had other reasons such as practitioners/acupuncturists did not observe safety standards.
12 cases of muscular damages were occurred from 1983 to 1989 in the same clinic in China.

Harvard Medical School performed a research for efficacy of acupuncture practices of youths in 2000.
Most of patients responded, "Acupuncture practices were helpful".

Often, needle alike tools are used for babies.

It is very cold this week.

Was highest around 60-degree F?
(My Cincinnati friend said, there is 30-degree F though {{{{(+ω+)}}}})

Isn't this cold hurting your body?

I don't know that because this cold or not,
but my bike's both pedals are broken anyway.

When I asked my friend "how to tighten brake wires" a while ago,
she said, "Go to Beverly Hills Bike Shop".
(She is a great rider. She tripped from SF to Santa Monica by bike last year.)

O.K. now.
I decided to go there for buying, installing pedals, and tighten wires.
Right before I go there, I saw some reviews on Internet.
Few of the reviews said, "They overcharge".
Those scared me, but I believed my friend and went.

I say the man (owner or manager) is not very friendly, but still nice enough.
Mechanics are very friendly and repaired my bike right away, although he was working for another one.

A pair of pedals is only $25.
Of course you can find cheaper one in Target or Amazon, but they did not ask me labor fee.

Brake wires are tight now.
All of joints are tight too, which I did not even ask them.

I repair problems of your body,
but if your bike has a problem...
I suggest you go there (*^ーﾟ)b ♪,
if you are in the area.

Japanese Acupuncturist Watched Angelina in Golden Globes

I have not have TV about 2 and half years.
Recently I bought a TV finally.
Very HUGE only 7 inch screen (´Д｀。)

I was watching the Golden Globes on Sunday night.
Did you watch that?

In this picture, there is Reese Witherspoon.
And many celebrities were there, of course.

After the show, one of my friends showed me a photo.

Yap, I know she was there,
but he said,

"I did her hair".
